There are just a couple of things that keep it from being great. There is no volume control, display isn't bright enough, and once it it mounted, you can't remove the bracket, there is no release mechanism. Otherwise it does everything you need it to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You plug it into your vehicles cigarette light or power adaptor, cord comes with it.
