What's great about it: Simple to use.
What's not so great: Not as durable as other adapters.
Bought this as a replacement for the original power adapter for my MacBook Air. Not sure how, but the old one somehow died on me, though it doesn't go anywhere and sits connected on my desk to the laptop via a surge protector from the wall outlet. Wouldn't charge the laptop, nor provide power for regular usage.
At $79.99 a pop, this is a ridiculous price for a laptop power cord. But I guess you gotta pay to play.

Can this work for a regular speaker (Bose SoundDock)
My SoundDock is older and not wireless. If I use this with a pigtail to plug into the Bose, will all the sound come through or just the low Hz?
Unless the output jack from the Bose has an adjustable crossover for the frequency you want to be directed via the transmitter, you'll just get whatever range is output from the jack currently.

can this unit be used in a cabinet with a wireless router
You connect this in two places. 1. To your LFE out from your receiver. 2. To your subwoofer inputs. If you're talking about interference between the receiver and your router, you can change the broadcast channel of your router and that should handle any potential problems with interference. Will this work with a 15 year old Kenwood Sub?
As long as your Kenwood sub has a line in for input, and your receiver has a line out for sub, it should work as expected.

Can it be used for surround and subwoofer - 3 in a system?
Can several "Subwoofer Transmitter/Receiver Kit"s be used in a home theater subwoofer and rear channels?
There's a separate Rocketfish wireless stereo speaker kit Best Buy sells that you could buy in addition to the wireless subwoofer kit to perform what you're asking.

Will I loose my frequency range?
I have a subwoofer which range is roughly around 22 Hz - 200 Hz. Will I lose my low end frequency using this product? My understanding is that the lowest frequency transmitted is 45Hz so does that mean I will be losing 23Hz?

Only you can tell if it gives you what you want, since numbers are only one part of the equation.
I do know that it works pretty well for me, I get both mid-chest slam and ground rumbling using it with my sub at normal volumes.
