Works ideal in a very small place.is greatt for a small trailer or small room where ther is little room for a table.

How is it attached to the underside of the cabinet? What are the dimensions of the footprint required under the cabinet?

The cabinet is maybe a foot wide under it.

Can this be used to mount from ceiling?

It would have to be mounted into a stud. We mounted it under a cabinet and reibforced it inside the bottom of the csbinet in a travel trailor.
