This is a well made product, but I have already broken mine. I snagged the catch that holds the phone in place and broke it off. I will get another, being careful not to repeat what happened. Mophie makes a good line of quality products, I just managed to tear up this one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the wifi booster because the signal in the condo at the beach was terrible. The wifi usually failed after a couple of minutes.
It was a small dish on a pole 12 floors down.
Even though the signal strength was really low, the booster improved the signal to a usable level. It was easy to set up, functioned well under poor conditions. I use it at home now, and it covers all the area around my property, something the wifi didn't do before.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does it mark up the case?

I have read that the clip scratches up the case, is that true? I would hate for the clip to leave marks all over my beautiful, gold mophie air case and make it ugly!!
On the black juice pack plus, the clip did leave some marks, which seem to have disappeared since I managed to break the clip and stopped using it. I will replace it next time I'm at best buy. On the gold juice pack, I would think marks would show more. Maybe it will be like the black one. I like Mophie stuff and I wouldn't let scratches that might happen stop me from using the belt clip. If the belt clip and juice pack are kept clean, scratches should be minimum damage.

Linksys E1200 NP has unwanted guest option, how to remove

I bought a Linksys E1200 about a week ago, and I was surprised to see a Guest unsecured connection option added to my normal connection. I have 2 connections - ssid1 with wpa security, and ssid2 with guest option totally open for anyone to use my Internet connection. How would I remove the guest option. There are at least 20 available internet connections available when I start my laptop, and I have the only one with unsecured access.
Since you posted 5 weeks ago, I hope you have secured your connection by now. If you haven't, call Linksys right now and have them walk you through the fix. And of course, don't do anything on that connection that you don't want the world to see.

what wifi routers work with windows 8.1 and chromecast?

I'm not aware that there are much in the way of restrictions for either one. Good rule of thumb: the further up the alphabet, the better for routers. "N" being my current favorite.

booster needed for ATT router in order to receive netflix on Smart tv in the living rm

Try one of the Amped boosters from Best Buy. This isn't a sales pitch. I bought one this summer, and it covers the dead spots in a long ranch house just fine. Pick one you like, it should do the job if your wifi is up to it. The one I bought runs around $99, but BB has models above and below that one. I just got what I thought would do the job. I would recommend picking a booster that seems adequate, then buy the next one up from it. Can't hurt.

What wireless router should I buy for multiple PC gaming?

If you run more than one game console at a time, you need the fastest connection possible in your area. Then I would recommend the top of the line wireless router, read that the most expensive router at Best Buy. Since you get what you pay for, and it sounds like there's serious gaming going on, you should have some bandwidth left over to do other things, like watch Netflix. Seriously, check the specs on whatever you're buying to make sure you're getting what you're paying for.

Wireless internet connection

I have purchased a HP 5530 e All in One printer. & the instant ink program. I do not have wireless internet connection. I need a wireless router with a hardwire connection an a wireless connection. Now my question: do I buy a wireless end router or a wireless router? I have a HP with windows 8.1
I had a similar situation several years ago when we all still thought dial up was all there was. The easiest solution turned out to be the local phone company. They ( Embark) were surprisingly helpful, especially when my high speed aftermarket wifi box didn't work. It never did. I still get emails from the company that I don't reply to. Equipment you will get from places like Best Buy are very good today, and you have store support. You will love all that you can do with wifi. So the short answer is talk to your experts at Best Buy. I assume your printer can function wirelessly, with air print or whatever. Good luck!

Can I buy wireless tv receivers to replace 2 rented AT&T wireless receivers?

My experience with this has not been good. Before you buy, contact the company that manufactures the equipment. Get some tech support to find out if it's possible to replace rented boxes with their stuff. This will give you an idea of how good tech support is, and if it ultimately does not work to suit you, then you can confidently return the boxes knowing you did your part. Good luck on this one!

Amped Wireless - High Power Wireless-N 600mW Smart Repeater and Range Extender
Extend the range of any Wi-Fi network by repeating the wireless signal and redistributing it in a new location. Includes 5 wired ports. Uses dual, high power 600mW amplifiers and high gain antennas to provide up to 10,000 sq ft of extended coverage.

Distance

I'm want to extend coverage 250 feet. I don't know how to convert from 10,000 square feet. Will it reach that far?
According to the instructions, the Amped booster operates at 100%
efficiency if the signal it receives is 73% or stronger. As the signal becomes weaker, the chances of there being a loss of connection becomes greater. I can't say whether or not this unit will reliably cover the 250 foot distance, but remember that the less obstructions the better. I have never seen one of these units that didn't function better the higher in the building it is placed. If there is a lot of metal in the building, you will need the highest gain you can buy.
