Excellent wi-fi extender. The Ethernet female connector makes it versatile and adaptable for multiple situations. I had one before I bought this one for my daughter and it worked as expected and solved her connectivity issue. A wi-fi ready media box needed connection away from the router in a different room where a cable was not convenient and this plug in gadget with a cable solved the problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can I use the Ethernet port on the extender to plus in to my device?

Yes. I connected a couple of WiFi ready media boxes where WiFi was unreliable and the cable was the solution with a plug in nearby.

Okay so will this device make the wireless wifi signal stronger??? The thing is my room is having issues having a solid full bars I see it constantly going up and down from 1 bar to full bars on my computer and gaming devices.

Yes. I have a Ring on my door that could not get a strong enough signal I plugged the Ext. inside next to the door and problem solved.
