bad phone charger

We got this phone for our daughter because it was free with a trade in. Phone is phenomenal, but after a little over month the charger that came with it will not charge the phone anymore. And it happened to stop working while we were away on vacation. Which was extremely inconvenient.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
