I have to say that this sound system is a big improvement over my tv's speakers and a good value for the price. However, I was looking for something to improve dialog in movies, specifically blu-rays, without turning the system up too high. I like action movies and if I turn dialog up to where I can hear it well, explosions and other sound effects are just way too loud. This just doesn't quite seem to do the trick. I have noticed that if I turn on Night mode that I can turn it up a little bit and the other sound effects aren't quite so loud. It serves its purpose. I just wish it was a little better.

Otterbox cases just fit and work well. That is no different here. Most other cases I've had break apart too easy or haven't protected my phone when dropped. This case does a great job of protecting my phone without adding too much bulk.

HDMI?
I don't understand . . . does this device plug into a HDMI port on the TV or some other port (such as USB)? Seems like the product specs would address such a fundamental question!
It plugs into the HDMI port on the TV. The USB cable with the Chromecast is for power. That can either be plugged into a USB port on your TV if you have one or there is an adapter that will let you plug it into a standard wall outlet to power the device.

VGA or HDMI port?
My TV does not have a USB port, but is HD and has VGA and HDMI ports (which we use to play Netflicks through a laptop). Can I use Chromecast if I get a converter cable, eg. USB-to-HDMI?
Chromecast plugs into the HDMI of the TV. It is powered via USB and it comes with an adapter to plug the USB into a wall outlet.
