For someone who wears them 8+ hours a day, weight and comfort was a big concern. These were the lightest and best reviewed at a reasonable price point. The sound quality is great, adjustable boom mic works well. These are very comfortable and versatile, super lightweight, accommodates any head size without sacrificing comfort and the entire earpiece / driver assemblies can be swapped maintaining frame. Mic mutes when folded up, so no guessing or searching to see if you are muted, plus best of all... works off analog headset 4 contact mini plug (comes with separate headphone and mic splitter too) to no pesky driver problems which I was plagued with using Windows 7. Great choice and great price, highly recommended.

Easy setup and smartphone integration, remote monitoring with free app and email alerts, motion sense, smart record. 8 cameras for the price was unbeatable, IR range is decent (better indoors than outdoors due to light dispersion, but pretty normal). Some video is clearer depending on light conditions with IR off, would be nice to have the option, but considering the price point, it does a great job, mounts are very versatile and can be attached to top or bottom of cameras for lots of mounting configurations.

Is this malfunction covered under warranty?
you can set the function you want, it will start then suddenly stop no sound at all. It seems to be a major part. I have had it a little over a year, to soon to break down.
sounds like a thermal cutoff or high voltage section shutdown. Most have only a 1 year warranty, some have an extended warranty on the magnetron itself, but that failure is usually accompanied by a noticeable loud humm before shutdown. Panasonic Customer Service is likely best option for coverage consideration

Is the interference a standard problem with this Model?
Any microwave will create some degree of EMI, so not a standard "problem" perse, just a design / operational side effect of any microwave

no "mounting" option, can be placed on a relatively compact shelf though
