Replaced my Canon Pixma MG8120B only because Apple's El Capitan OS X no longer supported the drivers for the printer. This one is quite similar albeit not as sturdy. However, at less than a third the price, it is not only a bargain, it has proven itself very functional. Not suited for anything other than throw away photos, it prints, copies, and scans well, and it has a fax function, too, though with eFax, that technology is antiquated. Quite simply, Canon, like Apple, simply works.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Basically, a reliable, safe, and easy to place gateway modem / router that is far better than what the cable companies provide on lease. Decent security built in, but should only be the backup to protection installed on a machine - hardwired or wireless. It will take a bit of experimenting with the 5.0 Ghz wireless band to find the frequency that works best in any given installation.
Pros:
Great customer service, size, color (white), beamforming technology on 802.11 ac protocol, easy setup, intuitive and functional website.
Cons:
5 GHz band has very limited range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

For a pricepoint item, this dryer is very good. The only thing I didn't like was the feet: cheap plastic with molded threads to adjust and level. But, hey, it drys the clothes well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Router or extender

I have a ATT modem, the signal coming from it is not strong enough to reach from the bedroom into our living room which I'd maybe 50 ft and has two walls to go through..do I need to buy a router or a extender to use with our wireless iPads and laptops we have all Mac . If so could you tell me brand or type of what I need and the difficulty setting it up.
If the WiFi signal is blocked the first consideration is placement in a more central location with fewer to no structural or radio signal interferences. If that isn't possible, then using an extender, repeater, or booster is, perhaps, the next best solution. However, not all devices are dual band, so choose one that meets the bandwidth on the router's WiFi network.

Is this compatible with a Mac?

Yes, I use it with both Apple and PC based devices including OSX and iOS on WiFi. It also works for ethernet and WiFi enabled devices like TVs, AVRs, et cetera.

will it work to replace my xfinity cable modem? I have the triple play bundle.

Yes. It replaced the Xfinity modem on lease in my home. However, always check with the local provider for compatibility.

If I purchase a Broadband Router with Voice do I have to sign up with a provider in order to activate its use?

Yes, the service is provided via subscription from the ISP. This device only provides for throughput of the signal.
