This was purchased for a TV in the garage with no cable available. Hooked it up and the TV receives over 40 channels in the Denver metro area, even without using the powered amplification function. All the major channels are digital HD and the display resolution is great.

Took this out of the box, put it on the stand and was watching TV in about 5 minutes. The longest part of the procedure is scanning for stations since I am using it for stations over the air.
The picture is great and the sound very good for a TV of this size. It is very light weight also.

Got this one for my wife. She loves to listen to Adele, although many of the songs are "downers" about troubles in life and loneliness. If you like Adele, put this one in your collection.

I had heard of these for a couple of years but didn't think too much about what it could do. I finally picked up one to augment my over the air TV reception. It work great right out of the package.
In addition, I moved it from my TV to my amplifier/receiver so that the sound would be broadcast through my home speakers.
You can cast just about anything displayed in Chrome (or other browsers). There are also a few sites that are blocked from casting videos...

This thing works perfectly. I was able to select all of my devices from the list of pre-programmed components. When I went to use it for the first time, it worked exactly as advertised and all my components responded as expected.
The screen on it is very nice, and is used for additional components that don't have a dedicated button like TV, movies, and music. And the screen also displays the help functions if you need them. The screen goes on when you lift or move the remote, and it goes off when you set it back down.

Can I "piggy-back a Dig. antenna on top of my existing outdoor antenna?
Have an older outdoor antenna which produces great HD except for 1 wanted channel.
If your older antenna isn't amplified, this on might be able to get that one last channel. You wouldn't need both. If this one picks up that last channel, it will pick up everything else.

do the rabbit ears extend or have to be extended for this to work?
The rabbit ears do extend, but if the signal is good, they don't have to be extended or can be extended only partially. The loop in the black section will capture the UHF signals. The best signal can be obtained by rotating the unit until it is facing the proper direction toward the transmission towers.

Do I need an antenna to go with this product? Is this only an amplifier?
No. This is an antenna AND an amplifier. The antenna is so good I don't even have to plug in the amplifier, but it's there if you need it.

Does it pick up Spanish channels? Univision, telemundo, galavision?
Yes. Tons of them. More Spanish channels than English channels out West.

Will this HD antenna allow you to receive tv signals on an analog tv without a converter box?
No. This is just the antenna. For an analog TV, you will need the converter box.

Have an old Magnavox TV-Will this antenna work to get any channels
We have cable tv on other televisions that are newer-this tv is in office and would like to get some reception without having to pay additional monthly cable charges.
The antenna will work great, but you will need a converter box because the old TV is analog and the new signals are all digital.

I have 50' trees in my backyard which is West facing and the towers are to the West according to my research. Will this antenna work?
The TV signals will go right through the walls of your house even if it is brick. Trees should present no problem. This assumes there is a decent signal in the first place. Most TV transmitters will go about 50 miles, so if you are within that distance of a major city you should be fine.

I bought one in England, live in New Zealand but can only get sky programmes for England
It will display anything you see on your browser. Perhaps, your account with Sky is just for England programmes. Maybe there is a different Sky for New Zealand?

can i plug this directly into my audio receiver just to listen to music,without turning my tv on
Yes - as long as your receiver is compatible. I plugged mine into my receiver using one of the auxiliary HDMI ports, and it works perfectly.

Samsung Smart TV Owners...
I got this today, and figured out how to make Activity Button "Watch a Movie" bring up the Smart Hub, everything was fine, it brought it up, I could select Netflix, play, pause, fast forward etc.
So not knowing to leave well enough alone, I wanted also the DirecTV DVR to be controlled by this remote and put it on Watch TV. Not sure it did anything, no channel changes worked even though some diagram I found said the buttons were programmed for the DVR.
Bottom line, now none of it works. I guess I will deleted both devices and start totally over. I am very confused.
Should I be able to have Smart Hub come up using an activity button and input "Smart Hub" as it is written on the choices for input, AND when watchnig TV have Menu be directtv menu, info be dirrect tv, channel numbers, channel up and down etc all be for direct tv?
Any clues, screen prints would be nice. Ironically I am retired computer tech and programmer LOL, though at 67 my brain may be on its way out. But this thing has me baffled right now. :)

Joe - you need to program the universal remote using the Logitech website. Without doing that, it doesn't know what hardware you have, so that's why Watch TV didn't work.
