My house is mostly wood floor or tile so this product is great for me. Not only does it steam clean the floors but has an added bonus of a vacuum as well. It's light weight and small so easy to store.
I would recommend this to a friend!

does it remove dirt from carpets or it's only for cleaning floors?

It would probably pick up surface light dirt but not in the carpet fiber.
