Lightweight & thin, capable of most duties, but not as fast booting as one might expect from a SSD. For the price one can't complain.

accidentally kicked the usb while it was plugged in and now its saying that there was a malfunction. how can i get my documents off the SanDisk USB?

Sounds like the connector is damaged. Recovery will require disassembly which is likely to be expensive unless you find a skilled hacker.
