It's an audio cable. Frankly, there's not much to go over here. All that you really need to know is that it works fine and there are no issues with audio only coming through one channel or anything like that. You should be aware that the casing on the ends is rather bulky so if your device has a jack that is not flush with the surface i.e. sunken into the body of the device than the cable may not fit.

Bottom line, the adapter works and $20 isn't a bad price for it. There are a few minor issues though. a.) it feels rather cheap (because it is) and the sliding mechanism gets caught sometimes. b.) I had to force the three prong plug on my laptop into the adapter and it came out slightly bent.

We bought this as an open-box item but it started leaking mountains of suds the first time we ran it. We called to get a replacement and after the first delivery date was missed, we finally had a brand new one delivered. We started to run it but the problem happened AGAIN. I don't think it's a problem with a part not being installed since running it with no dishes and detergent inside doesn't leak.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The speakers are good and there's a good amount of thump to the subwoofer. Unfortunately you can't connect the television antenna to the receiver so you're stuck with the speakers in your TV for watching broadcasts

Would give 5 stars if the hard drive was more easily accessible, I am not overly crazy about having to create a Microsoft account to use Windows 8 and was planning on using the drive from my old laptop

is the subwoofer powered or wireless
The subwoofer doesn't connect to the wall but is wired to the receiver.
