The band fits around my arm with no problems. I do sometimes feel like I need to readjust but it is not bothersome. My iPhone 4 fits in it just fine without its case. I don't sweat a lot so the opening on the top where the phone slides in is not an issue for me. I am able to use my screen through the plastic, so I don't need to remove the phone to pause or adjust volume.
I would recommend this to a friend!

is this also compatible with iphone 6

an iphone 6 is larger than the iPhone 5 that this case is designed for. I would imagine you would have a hard time getting the 6 inside.
