Looking to replace my cable co. modem/ Router? I think I have an all in one Modem Router that also has digital phone connect ed to it. could I even use this item? If so, What would be the benefits of changing it other than more range..

I connected this to my all-in-one cable modem because the range of the Time Warner modem was terrible. I also compared speeds connecting to both and there was no difference. If you have low bars in your house or you are constantly cacheing on your Smart TV, this is the solution for you.

Will this work in a wall that the studs are 26" apart from each other? Thanks

We hung this on a 65" tv into sheet rock using sheet rock anchors. We did not use any studs.

I wasn't there when tv was installed. How easily can you dismount when needed? Are there certain screws I should be looking for?

There is a set screw and the middle bottom of the swing out arm that connects to the TV. Remove this screw and you can lift the TV out.

Are the screws incompatible with the Sony Bravia 55" w80c TV?

Tried to put this wall mount together with a Sony Bravia 55" w80c TV but the screws that come with the mount weren't long enough to fit into the back of the TV which has an irregular back. Not sure what to do.

Our TV had the same issue (Vizio) but it had screws attached to the back of the unit. I would suggest going to the hardware store and getting replacements.

I don't know about your specific model. We purchased this for a 2014 model Sony TV that was an open box item at BestBuy and it synched from the start - no programing needed.

Not sure - we purchased this for a Sony TV so it automatically synched up. The instructions indicate that it would connect with Vizio products but I would not know about the rest of your equipment - instructions have been discarded.
