I had problems with two of these phones with the camera not being able to focus and also having a terrible amount of "muddy" looking photos. The DoF doesn't work properly as a standard lens should and I'm unsure if it's the software causing the problem or if I have a bad sensor. This camera is advertised the best on the market and was advertised for its low light performance. I cannot even take photos in afternoon shade without it looking like garbage.
When I reached out to Sony they gave me the same run around and when I asked if I'd be able to return it under warranty and get a new one they said no and that they would make me pay to ship my phone back. Not give me a interim replacement and wait for them to look at and fix it. It wasn't worth the hassle in my opinion since I don't have a back up phone since I switched carriers for this one. The attached image was only at 2x zoom. It should not look worse than my galaxy s4 camera for $800

Takes up more space in my bag then how I used to store them but seems sturdy and I'm not worried about dropping it.

Not as fast as the 50mm f1.8 but still a fantastic little lens with the added bonus of being capable of macro. I'm having a lot of fun with this and it's tiding over my macro urges until I can get the 105. Having a longer focal length would be great but this being a 40mm and producing pretty good bokeh it's also a great walk around lens.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The only reason this game gets any praise from me is because it's south park and doesn't hold its punches, other than that it's pretty boring and repetitive only really redeemed by nostalgia. Day one DLC and Ubisoft/Uplay killed this for me. When I buy a product I should be allowed to choose where I want to redeem and play it, but I am required to redeem the cd key with ubisoft.

I have a D750. Will this lens work if I put the camera of crop mode. Will I see black box on the frame?
/Currently using on a d750, I shoot all lenses in FX mode regardless if they're crop or not, You lose more data shooting in DX over just cropping out the vignette. from my experiences so far there is no black box but there is pretty heavy vignetting wide open and shooting portraits, almost none while in for macro shots.
