I have been a iPhone user since the 3G. It's unbelievable how far they come along. This phone is wicked fast. The camera is exceptional in low light situation. This coming from a DSLR user. I love the portrait mode, even in beta mode.

What's not so great: Battery, have to put a case on it

Upgrade question

I am using my husbands upgrade for my phone...we cant transfer it because it is an early upgrade. Once the phone comes in can I activate it on my line?

Yes, the phone does not come activated. You will need to all your carrier and activate it. That's where you tell them what line you want to activate it to.
