What's great about it: Size, Picture quality
What's not so great: Turn on time
The TV takes a minute to come on so now my theater system doesn't come on automatically when it's turned on. Had to tweak the settings to get rid of soap opera effect. Not sure why companies use so many filters when it makes for a poorer viewing experience...but I was able to dumb it back down for better quality. 100% Satisfied.
This product has... Useful Internet-enabled features, Easy to set up, Great value and features for the price, Right number of connections, Easy to use remote control

Can the auto brightness feature be disabled?

Can the auto brightness control be disabled, so that dark movie shots don't disappear in a room with no lights on at night?
Yes, you can disable it, and you can set it to a specific level that you choose.
