great lightweight vacuum

Love how well it vacuums and how lightweight it is....The only gripe is the dog hair gets stuck on pole (static)so I have to remove the bottom tool and vacuum the pole.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does this vacuum handle thick long carpet?

No, only if I shut off beater brush.
