I decided to opt for wireless since my desk is crowded enough as it is and according to most reviews there's no lag. It's true there's no lag, and the surround sound was great, but these headphones would just disconnect/shut off randomly during gameplay and obviously that just isn't okay when sound is crucial in your game. I would have to hide somewhere in-game and turn my headset back on. It wasn't an auto-off or battery save option, it just simply lost connection and turned off. Turning it back on fixed it. Very annoying problem. I tried multiple usb ports on my computer and I am only two feet away from my tower, no other wireless accessories besides a router about 10 feet away.
Returning and getting a wired surround version but probably not Logitech since they thought this was okay to sell to gamers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Logitech G930 VS Corsair H2100

Both are at the same price of around $75-$85. Both wireless, really looking for sound quality and features. both seem to have one or the other. Any recommendations?
I can only speak for the Logitech, which I am returning. This headset drops its wireless connection randomly and constantly and you need to turn them back on a lot. I would not get this headset.

How comfortable is it during extended gaming seshions?

Comfortable around the ears but my neck got tired/hurt after a few hours, they are pretty heavy.
