Okay the only reason this isn't 5-stars is because of the boom mic. Still it makes crystal clear calls! I have had a number of brands over the years and this is one of the best!

You do things outside? Could it get dropped or wet? Do you like music? If you said "yes" to any of that you need this. Love this will probably get a second and pair them for surround sound style! Awesome around my hot tub or on my deck or next to the fire pit

Why when i hook up my DVI to my HDMI and then to the TV my screen flashes blue but nothing appears on the TV?
I have the HDMI plugged into the proper outlet on my TV and into the DVI... which is then in my only DVI port on my laptop. My laptop screen flashes blue showing there is a connection, and will flash again when I break the connection but nothing shows up on the TV which is also on the correct input.
First this runs from your computer to your TV--so the mini display port should be plugged into your computer then it will feed to your TV. If you are hooking it into a DVI port then you are forcing a VGA into HDMI. Also the HDMI is not correct for the mini display port. Again the mini display port would be on your Mac computer then the VGA will be on your tv. Now if your tv has a DVI and not VGA then you can plug in a converter to transform your VGA to dvi

will this product work on a Dell XPS 12?
I don't think so. The outlet port is different from than on Dell I believe

why does the display on my macbook air not mirrored exactly using this adapter (RF-AP307) to a projector?
Not sure but there could a couple of issues, but I think it is the size/resolution of your computer screen vs the projector. There are times that the projector spreads it out which could be what is happening. Also make sure a complete connection is made. The age of the projector could be an issue to. The older the projector the harder the replication
