This switch which allows the use of one monitor and one mouse and keyboard between two computers is easily installed; but has a bad habit of the monitor cutting off mid project. (I tried two monitors; both had same result). It is well built and sturdy; not plastic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a good, fast printer, but difficult to install d/t a driver I had to call Canon to get, took two days before I could use it to print. Best Buy wanted to charge me for tech support.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can I use this to switch a hard drive between computers?

My database is on an external hard drive. I am setting up a backup system and want to physically connect the hard drive to both computers but only active on one at a time. I want to be able to switch the drive (via a switch, not unplug from #1 plug in #2) to the backup computer if the original one were to crash. Will this switch work for that or is there a switch that will?
The primary purpose of this switch is to switch between two computers. It is simple to install and to switch between two; you simply press a button on a small switch.

all the ink cartridges must be separate,
Has to be able to print in black even when one or more colored inks are empty,
and be able to scan, copy and print.
The Canon image class 4770n is a laser printer that uses only black toner cartridge. It copies, scans (in color), prints and faxes. Print is remarkably fast.
