What's great about it: fast enough clean ink cartriages
What's not so great: had to exchange a defective one
HP is a reliable manufacturer. This is a good printer for the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is this "both" a "wired" & "wireless" printer? I don't have wireless.

I do not have wireless in my home... will this printer work with "wired"? I see that some newer printers are for "wireless" only, and that is not what I need.
My experience is that you can use the printer either way. I send pictures from my cell to my printer wirelessly, but I have a USB connection, as well. You tell your computer which way you want it.

Can you continue printing with low ink levels?

Does this printer allow you to continue printing even after the printer software estimates that the ink cartridge should be empty? In other words, do you decide when the cartridges are empty and not the printer? I’ve had printers, (not HP), cease printing due to low ink even though there was still considerable ink remaining.
My experience is that it will continue printing with low ink, it will not, however continue printing if the cartridge is empty. Also... HP printers only recognize their own cartridge... the 'refilled' replacements wont be recognized...

HP has a chip in their cartridge and their sensor won't recognize a no HP cartridge, even if it is a 'refilled' one. The ink is expensive for the HP printers, even at Costco and Wal-Mart.
