I was honestly expecting more from these speakers. They are really easy to connect to my LG TV and the subwoofer wireless connection to the main sound bar works without a problem. However, the sound bar speakers themselves do not seem to be of too high of quality, since I had to replace it already once due to a malfunctioning speaker in the sound bar and now the same problem is happening again. Further, the rather annoying feature of automatic turn-off of the sound system when TV not in use is causing more headache than help. When you are searching for a video, the sound automatically turns off, and if the video starts playing around the time the sound system is turning off it will not turn back on automatically. In that case you have to go look for your sound system remote. Lastly, the volume on the sound system and TV is synced until you change the sound system volume with its remote and then go back to change it again with the TV remote. The two do not communicate with each other. Otherwise, the subwoofer sound is perfect, the setup is super easy, and the look of the sound system is good as well.

I wear hearing aids but find I have a difficult time understanding dialog on a lot of TV programs. will a sound bar help?
I feel like it may as the speakers are in this case facing directly towards the audience as it is not the case with many newer TVs.
