How to access DTV on my dynex

i recently turned off my cable and can't seem to watch local tv on my 32' Dynex LCD (DX-LCD32). In settings the digital tuner is not an option because its not highlighted like the other items. The digital tuner is supposed to be built in but how do I access it? Please help.
You may need to change your TV Tuning Band setting from cable to antenna. Enter the on screen Menu and select Setup, then Tuning Band and select Antenna from the options. You will then need to complete an Auto Channel Search. You can find more details in the User Manual, downloadable at http://www.dynexproducts.com/produc...

Is there an issue with Dynex tvs not picking up digital channels?

I bought a Dynex tv/dvd combo 2-3 years ago. I have Insight cable. When the world went digital, I could pick up all the channels, but they weren't in the location that Insight gave. Ex: 35.2 was at 35.5. For the last 2 weeks, I cannot pick up one of the local tv stations that I could previously. It now says "channel incrypted". I had no problem getting it prior to 2 weeks ago, and it was actually on the correct digital channel according to the station line-up. Is this an issue with Dynex? I know that Insignia brand has issues with WOW cable.
Since the TV will display the signal it receives, if you're getting a message either from your service provider or the TV indicating that the channel is encrypted, then you will need to contact your cable provider for further assistance.

T.V. Power turns off automatically

My 55"s power turns on and off at it's own free will. Sometimes it will turn off automatically and not turn on again at all after that for a given period of time. How do I fix this?
Try these steps: restore your TV to factory defaults via the on screen Menu. Power-cycle your TV by turning it off and unplugging it for an hour. If the problem persists after these steps, your TV may require repairs. Please call our Product Support team at 800-305-2204 for assistance in scheduling service if needed.

which wall mount?

I saw in another question "no , but you can buy a bracket that will line up to the holes in the back of the TV".

Can you provide a name or link for this mount?
Any wall mount that supports a VESA standard of 75mm x 75mm should work for this TV.

using my tv as a computer monitor why dont i have sound

Since you didn't mention how you've connected your computer, there are a couple of things you can check. If you've connected by VGA, you'll need to connect a 3.5mm cable from your computer to your TV. Instructions for doing this are outlined in the TV owner's manual. If you've connected by HDMI or are using a DVI or Mini-DVI with conversion to HDMI, you may still need to use an audio cable. Consult your computer manual for details on these connection types. I hope this helps.

DYNEX DX-24L230A12 24" LCD TVs program guide and online manual

Just bought above model today at Best Buy in Kingston Ontario. Program Guide button on remote does not activate an on-screen program guide. Minimal manual included in the box wasn't any help but gives url for online manual. That specific model is not listed, so I selected this category but unable to access any any online manual but looked through the existing FAQs and didn't see anything similar question. Question 1: How does one activate the Program Guide? (connected to cable, but not no cable box) ; Question 2: Where is the online manual?
Pressing the GUIDE button on your remote control should provide program information if that information is being transmitted by your cable company. If you're getting no result, you may wish to contact your service provider for more information. You may download a copy of the owner's manual via http://www.dynexproducts.com/produc....

Can I pick up a digital over the air signal with this TV or do I need a box?

You will need an antenna to pick up broadcast signals, but you will not need a converter box as this TV has a HD (digital) tuner built in.

Why does my new Dynex 55" go from a great picture to green with lines?

The picture will be great then change to green wtih lines in it. We turn it off and back on and it is perfect then after a few minutes back to the green/line screen again. Why does it do this?
