My computer has been having problems alot, probably becuase its used alot . I know the memory was starting to get full, and I'd get messages to delete things in a Disk. I would delete programs and toolbars I didn't use, and delete my history daily, tho my desktop wouldn't improve much. Just Tuesday (2 days ago) My desktop wouldn't take me to the Log in Screen and instead went to the Black 'Did not shut properly' Screen and you get two options, One for going in Safe mode and another in starting the computer normally. I tried the second one but it loaded too long, and then I restarted and I choose the first one. Both options didn't help and I left my computer alone. Now it's Thursday and I come home to a computer and it's almost brand new, But I don't see any of my files, No pictures, Videos, Documents, Music, Nothing!! This really upsets me and I just wonder and hope is there any way I can have them back. I think thiers a ''System Restore or backup'' But I have never used that, I guess it says I should backup files, and from what I think, It saves your files incase anything happens? I have never backup my files due to the lack of knowledge. I want to know, and I cross my fingers, Is there anyway I can retrieve the old files? It's not hidden, i feel like it got deleted and I'm wondering if I take it to Best Buy or some place, They can somehow open my (Harddrive?) or computer, not sure, and to restore the pictures, etc. If you have any information Please Help!
