Every car is different and requires individualized installation. I would recommend that you contact your nearest Best Buy and talk to one of the Agents in the Install Bay. They should be able to quote you installation for your specific car. Hope this helps.

I believe the model you are looking at is KX-TGA659T, SKU: 2557033 on the Best Buy.com website. There is one handset with rechargeable battery and owner's manual. It does not function as a stand-alone phone. Hope this helps.

whats the difference between subwoofer and speakers

Speakers are for your mid-range sound and the subwoofer is the low, bass sound. If you've ever heard a vehicle pounding down the road, chances are they've got a sub or more in the trunk. Hope this helps.

How long would it generally take to install an amplifier and subwoofer in a car?

This is a tough one. Every car has its own complexities. I use to work at a store and car fi was one of my areas that I loved to work in. We generally asked our customers to allow a full day, 8 hours. Customers left vehicles in the morning (or night before) and picked up later in the day. I would recommend checking with the Installer as he/she can give you a better time frame.
