I need a usb to hdmi adapter for my hp chromebook x360 2 in 1. It is the 2020 model and is 14 inches. I bought it from Best Buy. Can you recommend an adapter that will work with my chromebook?

Ideally you will want a "USB 3.0 to 4k HDMI adapter" if you are going to your TV, otherwise any "USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter" will work. Just search BestBuy what is in quotes.

ALSO, if your Chromebook has a USB-C port (which it most likely does), then definitely buy a "USB-C to HDMI adapter"! It is less expensive and a better quality picture is guaranteed.

I have a Surface with mini DP driving my old HDMI monitor. I bought a new monitor that only has the DP socket. Can I use this adapter to connect my MiniDP to HDMI cable to the Female DP socket to drive my new monitor. TIA

My computer does not have a hdmi. Will this work to connect my wacom one drawing tablet?

No. This adapter is for connecting an HDMI device to a desktop computer's video card via the DisplayPort (laptops don't usually have a DisplayPort output.

Also this adapter is one-directional, therefore it only outputs what you are doing on the computer ONTO the device it's connected to (TV, monitor, etc.).

Wacom One's do have bluetooth. Also I think you you are looking for a "bidirectional" adapter if anything, and this one you are asking about isn't that.

Does the laptop meet RTCA DO160, AMC 20-25 & AC 120-76D?

You can take any laptop on any plane but I don't think Dell seeks out certification for aeronautics compliance.
Regarding Airworthiness, it's the emissions of WIFI and Bluetooth from ANY electronic device, regardless, that is of concern and nothing else.

All in all, this having a solid state drive makes it perfect for any type of travel.

is it compatible with both Mac and PC?

Yes is fully compatible with both with one exception. You can't move files larger than 4gb because it's formatted in FAT32.
If you want to move large files then re-format to exFAT and it will work in both PC and Mac and move large files.
