I'm a freelance visual journalist and after several requests for aerial footage and photos, I dipped my toe in the water with this Mavic Air. first of all, it was easy to set up and get going. After registering with the FAA and getting my commercial drone license, I've been collecting aerial shots for about a month. I know there are drones with better cameras and more advanced stability, but so far so good. Most importantly, clients have been happy with what I've delivered. I may upgrade to one of the other DJI models with a better camera at some point, but for now - and for the price - it's great to explore drone photography with this unit. An added plus is the size - drone, controller and extra batteries all fit alongside other gear in my large camera backpack when I need to fly somewhere on assignment.

I'm using the Google Fi service with a Samsun Galaxy S9 which means I'm restricted to the T-Mobile network in the US. Not a problem as it works as well or better in all the areas my previous AT&T service did. I travel internationally frequently for work - and have contacts in a few dozen countries - so landing in another country and just turning on my phone and having it work is amazing! Having access to an international calling plan at all times - including using wifi calling when available - is invaluable. I used to buy sim cards in every country to have data access and a temporary local phone number. Now my US-based text and phone calls come through normally and I still have access to local foreign numbers and WhatsApp wherever I am. I'll probably get the Google Pixel 4 or another phone that can network switch at some time in the future, but the Samsung S9 is working great for now.

Really good and compact microwave for out kitchen. But like other LG products we own (washer and dryer) the startup and end tones are super annoying. Why doesn't LG offer a way to disable these cartoonish songs on their products? It's like a Hello Kitty nightmare!

Replaced my old cable modem with this when the offered line speed surpassed its capabilities. Pleased with the ease of setup and speed - lots of headroom to grow, unless my neighborhood suddenly gets fiber... Even then, for my home purposes, this router and cable modem combo is fast enough for everything I do online.

Purchased to update my older iMac with an external Thunderbolt boot drive and it's like having a new computer! Boot time is 1/4 of what the internal spinning disk provides. An easy and inexpensive way to get more life out of an older computer.

I've received third-party batteries as freebies when purchasing cameras in the past and none have lasted as long or performed as consistently as the name brand. What's the use of paying 1/2 price if the camera stops working when you need it? For my money, I'm sticking with name brand batteries as I've never had one fail in 15+ years of digital shooting.

I waited almost a year for a D850 and my contact at Best Buy called as soon as they had one in stock - picked it up that afternoon! Amazing focus system and crazy resolution. Controls are positioned for ease of access when in high-paced shooting scenarios. Paired with my Nikon D750 it's a photojournalist's compact dream kit. Yes, it's expensive, but this rugged and smaller body with fast shooting is such a great value when compared to the D5 or even my old D4.

This drive failed after six months. Best Buy suggested I contact the manufacturer for warranty. I threw it away and bought a SanDisk.

Is this compatible with the D7000
Yes, it is compatible. The effective focal length of any lens placed on a DX sensor camera (like the D7000) is to multiply by 1.5x. So this lens will offer the same perspective as a 75mm lens on a full-frame camera. If you want a 50mm equivalent for your D7000, look at the Nikon 35mm 1.8G DX lens.

I did not see any specifics on the monitor outputs. Can this support multiple monitors and what is the configuration (HDMI/DVI)? Second question is about the USBs? What configuration of 3.1 and are these Superspeed+ (10GB)?
I have a dual 4K monitor setup working using one DisplayPort and one HDMI. I tried with two DisplayPorts and didn't have initial luck, but I'm new to the Windows/PC world so it could be a problem I have yet to solve. Both monitors are resolving at 4K and there seems to be no lag, so I'm calling it good for now.
