Quality and alignment seem fine but my screen seems less responsive than it should be. Sometimes it takes a few presses to register a touch event…not sure if this is the fault of the screen protector or not but it’s definitely noticeable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

does not work on macos high sierra

if you use this on a mac, it will work for extended displays provided you're not using the most recent version of macos high sierra.
i just recently updated my computer to high sierra, and this WILL NOT WORK AT ALL if you're on 10.13.4 or later (as of this writing, 10.13.6 is the most recent release). i successfully wiped my hard drive and went back to sierra (10.12.6) and everything seems to be working again.
again, if you intend to use this with macos high sierra (10.13.4 and later) it absolutely WILL NOT WORK. you must be on an older version than 10.13.4. it may or may not work with 10.13.3 (i was not able to test it), but can confirm it does work with 10.12.6 (which is the latest release of sierra).
5 stars if you're using this on sierra or earlier, but i have to dock it at least one star since it won't work on the latest version of macos.
i've notified insignia to see if they can come up with a fix for the drivers, but this seems to be a pretty universal thing with usb displays in high sierra judging from a quick google search...
I would recommend this to a friend!
