Let the bass boom with this Pioneer car subwoofer. Its 400W RMS power delivers distinct low frequencies, and its compact enclosure lets you install it freely to save space. The reinforced MICA injection-molded cone structure of this 10-inch shallow-mount Pioneer car subwoofer produces deeper, tighter bass sounds that audiophiles love.

This low profile subwoofer is awsome for it's size and cost, I got it to replace another one just like it I had. The installer at The Mayfield Store ruined it and tried to lie about. The new one worked fine for a short period of time but was ruined yet again because of an amp I also had installed there wasn't grounded properly, this will ruin an amp and potentially anything connected to it as I experienced. The installers at this store are TERRIBLE, but the this subwoofer is great. My advice is to buy the subwoofer but not the Geek Squad car audio Installation.

This is an excellent camera, it works really well. I wouldn't have it installed at Best Buy Store in Mayfield Ohio though, the car audio installers ther aren't knowledgeable reliable honest or good in any since of the word "installer", and the Head Manager there is even worse. Buy the camera but get it installed elsewhere is my advice.

The Pioneer GM-DX874 four-channel amplifier will deliver up to 150 watts RMS to each of your front and rear speakers for powerful music. Highly efficient Class D technology keeps this powerful amp running as cool as it looks, and allows for a compact chassis that fits in a lot of out of the way spaces. The frequency response of this amplifier stretches up to 50,000 Hz, for Hi-Res Audio Certified playback. Pioneer uses high-grade electronic parts and gold-plated RCA connections to ensure maximum performance. Speaker-level inputs allow you to install this amp in a factory system with no RCA connections. The amplifier switches its input mode automatically when it detects the high-level signal, eliminating the need to run a turn-on lead to your receiver or fuse box. Built-in high- and low-pass filters let you adjust the sound for your vehicle's interior, whether you're driving speakers or subs.

I purchased this amp to replace another Pioneer amp that was ruined by a Geek Squad installer at the Mayfield Ohio Best Buy Store. My Pioneer amp and subwoofer worked great until I went into Best Buy to have a radio installed. My subwoofer was replaced but my amp which was not wired (grounded) properly or mounted securely was ruined from the botched install. The installers at this store are terrible. One even told me that he'd installed a set of door speakers that he really never even opened up. The general manager at the store refused to replace my damaged amp, and smiling, told me to take my buisness elsewhere or install it myself.

After my radio was installed by James (Jay), at the Mayfield Heights store, my voice assistant no longer works and since he failed to connect all the wires of my radio up as he informed me, some of the features of my readio don't work. James also first told me that I needed an xm radio receiver, then said I didn't need it, then later said I needed it but since they ran out of them at that store I'd need to get it from another store about 10 miles away and had to reschedule installation. James does not appear to be a very good installer at all, although he can talk for hours during the time scheduled for the install. Just an all around terrible experience.

The installer named James at the Mayfield Heights store damaged my speaker, knicked the tint on my window, wired up my amp then basically just threw the amp in the compartment with my car jack to just bang around scratching up the amp and potentually shortening the life of that amp from all the bouncing around against the car jack. I brought the car back up to the store so that James could secure the amp somehow and he just took the amp out ou the compartment and layed it in the cargo area once again just to freely move around, also making it so that I couldn't place the door over the jack compartment. James then tells me that I'd need to reschedule to have this issue resolved. I contacted a manager and the manager agreed to replace the damaged speaker with a new one at no cost to me promising to have it sent to James and on my next appointment to have more equipment installed James would give me that speaker. I rescheduled and on the next visit about a week later James tells me that no speaker was ever sent to him for me and he couldn't install my other equipment because he didn't have time so I rescheduled again. When I arrived on the day and time he told me to come back he said that I was a day early, I returned the next day and again no equipment was installed and he informed me that he didn't connect the wiring for my radio to dim when the headlights go on so this is probably why that feature didn't work and told me that I'd also need to purchase an xm radio receiver in order for my radio not to stop playing while I was backing up. I rescheduled again and when I returned I told the manager Joe about the whole ordeal, Joe gave me a store credit for $54 to cover the knicked tint on my window. After 3 hours of having my car that day another installer calls me up and tells me that he had installed my rear speakers but not the front speakers and was doing research on my radio operation over the phone and that in order to have the xm radio receiver installed that I had to purchase it from another store and be back at the Mayfield store in about 30 minutes for him to install it which I did but, upon returning to the store, I find that after having my car for about 4 hours no speakers were actually installed, in fact no work at all was done on the car. The second installer had lied about installing the rear speakers and apparently was under instructions from Joe to not do any repairs or installs to my car and to leave the amp where it was just sliding around in the back of my car. The second installer told me that because of falsification on my part he was not going to work on my car anymore, then went and told the manager that I wanted to talk to him. Joe came out and then proceeded to tell me that he didn't want his installers working on my car anymore because they felt uncomfortable working on it. Then Joe ignores the fact that the 2nd installer lied about having already installed the rear speakers, and James now has changed his story from what he told the first manager, that he heard a pop then nothing when he tested the speaker, to he saw a spark then nothing. Both stories lend to showing that James damaged the speaker because during the "pop test" that James did after installing the amp, it shows normal speaker operation for the battery operated tester to have the speaker "pop", that pop shows the speaker worked, it would be almost impossible to get that tester to cause any spark while testing the speaker because of the tester's low amperage and voltage. One way to get a pop and spark from a speaker would be to connect 12 volts directly from a wire from the car battery to the speaker, this probably world cause the sound and spark described by James as the speaker was ruined. This very unlikely would not be an accident that a seasoned installer would make, but a purposeful destruction of that speaker, followed by shifting stories of the event being told. Joe told me that I could pay $40 more and then they could cancel my Total Tech Support Plan and I could take my buisness elsewhere because his installers wouldn't be doing any work on my car, then when I explained the technical reasons for Jame's stories not panning out as true, Joe tried to act like I was treatening him and searching for reasons to deny the repairs and installations. The next appointment I could get for a nearby Best Buy store was in mid January about a month and a half away. To me this is completely unacceptable as I presently have a scratched up amp sliding around in the cargo area of my car and equipment that hasn't been installed after about 5 appointments and promises not fulfilled as far a a replacement speaker being ordered or delivered as Joe said he'd have it sent to my house. This has all been extremely unprofessional and unusual for Best Buy as far as my long previous experiences with them installing equipment for me goes, I've never been treated so rudely, lied to and mislead as this before, ever, by any store. I am sadly dissappointed and am still left with a botched installation to work around everytime I go to use my cargo area because wires are exposed and the amp is still sliding about back there.

After having my amp installed I was asked to return to the store. The installer James proceeded to inform me that when he went to test one of my subwoofers, it popped then didn't work anymore. I informed him that the speakers were both working when I brought them in and we tested the speaker again but the speaker didn't respond at all. I contacted a manager and explained that my speakers were both working at the time James tested them in order to get that pop from the test. The manager eventually decided to just replace the nonworking speaker and scheduled one to be sent to James the installer at the Mayfield store. I returned to the store weeks later to have other work done and to have someone secure my loose amp that James installed that was just flopping around bumping against the steel jack in the back of my car in the small area where the jack is normally stored. James informed me that Best Buy installers don't drill holes in things so he couldn't mount it to anything in there. I eventually suggested to put it into a storage area that looks like it was made for amps or tools that was under the cargo area of my SUV, James informed me that I needed to reschedule in order to have that done. But the replacement speaker, according to James wasn't in yet. This other install was a whole different nightmare but, I rescheduled again hoping to get another installer for my other equipment to be installed. When I came for that installation weeks later the subwoofer according to James never came in and needed to be reordered. By the way this last installation was also never done, a whole seperate nightmare, and somewhere during one of these installations the tint near the top of my driver side window was gouged by what appears to be a knife given the triangular shape of the gouge, and I didn't originally see this because with the windows fully in the up position that gouge isn't visible but it will continue to tear over time with raising and lowering the window. What a nightmare this has turned out to be. Now the head manager there at the Mayfield store has sided with James and asked if I wanted to pay $40 more for the previously installed equipment so he could cancel the Total Tech Support with no money from that being returned to me, and then I could take my buisness elsewhere. Really?... This makes no sense to me. What an ongoing nightmare this has turned out to be. And my cargo floor mat wasn't put back into my car. I'll go back to get that tomorrow. I have pics but can't seem to get my small (154kb) sized pics to upload here.

About how much would it cost to install a amp and a subwoofer that I have already bought, I just need it to be installed??

From my experience, I would Google "car audio installation in my area", and get several estimates. From what I've experienced using Best Buy's Geek Squad Total Tech Support in Mayfield Ohio, I would never recommend them to anyone. Look for real car audio equipment installers in your area. It'll likely be less expensive and be done right the first time. I regret purchasing the Geek Squad Total Tech Support, and the General Manager at the Mayfield Store refused to replace equipment that his installers damaged with a poor installation job there. Believe me, you'll likely be much better off taking your buisness elsewhere for installation after you've purchased the equipment from your Best Buy Store. But, if you still choose to get it installed at Best Buy, the Best Buy App can be downloaded and used to estimate the cost for your particular installation needs. Although I highly recommend against having them do it, especially not at the Best Buy in Mayfield Ohio.
