I bought this on sale to expand the number of places I could get general information, hear weather reports and listen to music. I've hit a small snag in setting up the "home screen" with the picture(s) I want, but probably just need to exercise a little patience and try again. Alexa's "voice" seems a little softer or muted compared to other Echos in other rooms. I had to unplug the device and replug it to bring the speaking volume up--the buttons on top made no difference. I also want to try the function that has all the Echo devices playing the same music at the same time in all locations, but have been baffled so far.

I bought two of these in addition a unit I already have, to locate in bedrooms, where they can "answer" questions as one is getting ready for bed. I also use them to play some peaceful music as I am settling in for the night--and to set a morning alarm to a specific musical genre or artist. A downside is that two individuals in different rooms cannot play different music at the same time.

It was easy to install for this moderately capable do it yourselfer. It was certainly a better choice to self-install than pay the store to do it for twice as much as the wall mount itself cost. It does stick out into the room slightly more than anticipated.

The two delivery guys efficiently relocated the old dryer to my front porch with zero fuss. I didn't want to simply junk it or send it the landfill. I sold it for a few bucks to a guy who desperately needed one quick and cheap.

This product is great, so much better than the flimsy, old, and way too flexible duct I had on my old dryer. I was skeptical of the claims that it would just rotate into the proper position when finally connected to the dryer and the exhaust vent, but it worked like a dream. I had to install this kit myself, as it constituted a special problem for the delivery guys and they did not do this. I am a decently qualified DIYer, and I managed it fine. But this kit is clearly more efficient and safer than my old system, and I highly recommend replacing older ducts with this kit.

The two guys were prompt, courteous, efficient. They started the dryer to insure it was functioning correctly and to "burn off" some of the new machine smell. They relocated the old dryer to the porch. But they did not hook up the exhaust kit, a service which I thought(?) was included when I bought it. They said I would have to get someone else to do it, as they could not. I understand why they didn't or couldn't, because it took the purchase of some new connecting ductwork and a couple of tries on my own to install the kit to my existing exhaust vent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this dryer to replace an older GE, when it seemed to be drying too hot no matter the selected temperature setting. This model appears to be running a little cooler(!) than I expected, and maybe I just need to learn a new set of standards for time and temperature. I bought this model after reading a very positive recommendation in Consumer Reports; also it was on sale at Best Buy and the electric company is offering a tidy rebate. But: unless you set the dryer on the LG base (extra $) or stack it with the companion washer (unnecessary and impractical for me), you really have to stoop low and deep to remove a dried load. It doesn't have an interior light, and the lint filter has a series of small pockets along the sides where tiny batches of lint accumulate. The user instructions that come with the dryer are skimpy; you have to go online to print a useful owner's manual, but beware sites that charge for this--you can print one off for free.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
