i realized that there was no protective foam inside of the case, I’m slightly concerned about this, and also my gpu power cable has two extra ends coming from it that are zip tied and not plugged in, is this normal?

I’m having a hard time taking off the side panel (the side the motherboard is on) I’ve removed the two screws but it still won’t come off am I missing something?
