I canceled my order for an outside antenna and first wanted to try an amplifier on my attic antenna. As others have suggested I connected the amplifier to the antenna lead rather than using it in the room where one of my TVs is located. This, of course, has the effect of boosting the signal to all 4 TVs which are connected to the antenna. I made a 1/2" hole in my garage ceiling so I could run the female connector into the attic, then I connected the other end to a lightweight 12' extension cord and an outlet in the garage.
I still use a VCR through a converter box. Weekdays I tape BBC, Newsline, or DW news on PBS so I don't have to watch the awful broadcast network news which seems to be about 12 minutes of news crammed into a half hour of commercials.
Before installing the amplifier PBS, NBC, and Fox were marginal, sometimes OK but more frequently breaking up. My digital to analog converter box showed a signal strength of 10% for PBS. After connecting the amplifier and re-scanning, the signal strength is now 50-60%. Not one problem with the signals now. I can even pick up more stations that I don't want to view.
I purchased this as a certified return item. It is excellent, cheaper and much easier to install than an outdoor antenna, and saved me the hassle of crawling on my roof.

I use these a lot. I always though 8g was plenty until I started backing up my music. Now 32g is the minimum for me. I'm sure I'll upgrade to 64g or more in a few years. Nice the way the prices keep coming down as capacity increases.

I almost purchased the 39 inch 720 Insignia for $129 before coming across this 40 inch 1080 for only $10 more. I didn't want a smart tv because I wanted a normal remote and I don't want to talk to my tv to tell it what to do. Shortly after purchasing this tv the FireStick was on sale for $29 so the setup is complete. I have 3 Insignia tvs: 26,32,40. No problems with any. Very happy with this brand. Also I now have 3 FireSticks and have a wide range of viewing options with these and my outdoor antenna.

I bought this tv 3 years ago for my exercise room. At the time it was on sale for $99.99. The picture is excellent. The sound is fine for its size, but to overcome the noise inherent in an exercise room I have the earphone output connected to a Sony dvd/cassette input. I have a dvd player, a vhs player, rabbit ears, and an Amazon fire stick as inputs. Very happy with this purchase.

I’m using the fire stick on my TV if I buy that one can I download any app I want so I don’t have to plug the fire stick on the back and watch those channels for free I have like 600 channels right now on the fire stick....
Any app downloaded to fire stick can also be downloaded to this tv. I have fire sticks on my other 4 tvs. I don't notice any difference between this tv and my other tvs.

Just bought one. Does the carafe lid snap on and off for cleaning purposes. I am reluctant to try for fear that I'll break it.
With lid sitting (not raised) on carafe, use dinner knife to pry up one side to gently raise lid off pin it rotates on. Then move knife over to other pin and lever the lid off.
