Very similar replacement for a 15 year old Kitchenaid toaster that had become unreliable. The features on this one are excellent. Bread is toasted uniformly, English muffin option works well although I’m not really sure how it differs, the one slice button is a plus. We also like dials to set the options rather than buttons, although I was a little turned off by their appearance. They are much easier to read. The extra travel on the levers makes extracting smaller pieces of bread a snap. All in all, a great choice.

We now have Fire Sticks on our three TVs. I added them to the older sets to get Prime Video on one and cable news on a small.kitchen TV that was not cable connected. However, when we subscribed to Disney+ I was surprised to discover that our newer Samsung so-called Smart TV did not have a Disney+ app nor was there likely to be one in the future. This was a reasonable fix for that problem, and the 4K stick was on sale at nearly the same price as the older one although we don’t have a 4K set yet. Like the others, wireless connectivity was pretty good, apparently better than that of the TV although that’s hard to measure. I do like the new remote, although we rarely use the voice feature. All in all, this was a good solution.

I wanted an Echo Dot, mainly to serve as an intercom station to communicate with two of the bigger units elsewhere in our house. Does that job well although the sound quality is not equal to the larger units, of course. If I had it to do over, I might have bought the Dot with the clock display, but that’s on me.

I had an earlier version of the desktop, about 5 years older, that died a few days before my taxes were due last year. Had been happy with the old one and bought this replacement as an emergency fix. (I’ve since repaired the old one and it serves as a back-up.). This new one has been fine, may be a bit faster, and certainly has quieter fans. I’ve been buying Dell computers since I retired my Leading Edge D many years ago and have been very happy with them.

I can’t speak to durability yet but this cable works fine and looks like it will stand up as least as well as the original. Also, I doubt that you can beat the price, at least not by much.

Our XM receiver was probably around 10 years old and we decided we wanted an upgrade. The Onyx Plus was reasonably priced and we bit. The color display is definitely a plus and the controls are somewhat more intuitive, but the main improvement has to do with either the memory or perhaps increased sensitivity, which mitigates the dropouts in cities and in spots on the highway where woods or cliffs block the view of the satellite. My only issue is the mounting bracket, which Is too big to work well on the center console of our Camry. I didn’t want to block a vent, so I adapted the old mount to solve the problem.

The installer set up the washer, leveled it, and tested its’ operation. So far, all excellent. However, the drain hose was extended close to the bottom of the wash basin. I questioned this out of concern that water could siphon back into the machine, but the installer said it was not a problem. Later, reading the manual, I saw a specific warning about this, so I reconfigured the hose. Everything is fine now.

The delivery date was specified when we purchased the washer, and shortly before that date we received an email confirming the date with a time window. The workmen arrived within that window, hauled away the old machine, and put the new one in place with no damage to either the washer or the narrow doorway into our basement. We have absolutely no complaints about this service.

Our Maytag Neptune finally bit the dust after 19 years and we needed a replacement. After some research via CU and internet sources plus several years experience with an LG fridge, we chose this LG and we are very happy with it. It is quiet, vibration free and, most importantly, does an excellent job washing. Also notable, the spin cycle does a great job extracting the water, so our dryer works noticeably faster. I’m not sure I understand the usefulness of the WiFi connectivity and have not yet bothered enable that. My wife does miss having an interior light, a minor issue, and one caveat here is that we’ve only had it a few weeks, so we have no information about durability.
