I've had my Brother Printer for many years. It keeps ticking and I keep using this toner. My local Best Buy keeps the toner in stock which is handy. When it runs out of toner, the printer quits printing, so I need toner in a hurry. I am able to recycle the old cartridge through the mail by using the Brother website for a free mailing label.

This seems to do the trick for a scanner. I had to have tech support walk me through the set up on my MacBook Air. Unfortunately, the instructions omit some keys steps. It says it has WiFi, but the tech said it didn't, so I couldn't set it up for WiFi. I haven't had time to spend on ferreting out the WiFi set up. I'd say this does ok for someone that needs limited scanning.
