bought to use in a music player with expandable space. card is fantastic and works great. the only catch is if you purchase this card for use in an older device that uses micro SD cards (like a sandisk music player or new Nintendo 3DS) , those devices like cards formatted in FAT32. Because this card is bigger than 32 gigs, stuff like windows will only allow you to format it with EXFAT and older devices won't recognize that. It is possible to format this 64 gig card with FAT32 but you have to hunt down a special program to do it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

wll this work wth the new 2ds xl

not a simple yes or no question
normally no. all the 2 and 3ds systems recognize cards formatted with FAT32. Because this card is bigger than 32 gigs, most formatting programs will only let you format it with EXFAT which 2 and 3ds systems won't recognize.
This card will work on a 2 or 3ds. I have one of these in my new 3ds. Unfortunately you either have to purchase or hunt down a formatting program that will allow you to format the card in FAT32.
