Was trying to find a TV without a smart OS. This one fit the bill perfectly. Using Tivo stream for the "smart" aspects, and this works great, turns on quickly, has a good picture and is perfect for our kitchen.
We had a newer same size Vizio smart tv, that continued to get updates and cause the TV experience to be terrible. Took 2 minutes at least just to turn it on and get to programming.
At this point, will not buy a smart TV anymore unless you can disable the "smart" aspect. W

The sound quality is awesome. That alone was worth it, right? not sure about sound quality over WM4, but the fit was a little better for me, so spent more for WM5. I suggest to try the fit before spending so much money, Other things... Instructions were not easy to follow, and a little hard to find. Then case is terrible, so plan to buy a new case immediately. Zipper doesn't work well, and the design is just weird. A rectangular box with a loop and filleted edges would be better and probably cheaper. Now more waste for the landfill. It's a bummer that after spending $400, you still have to find accessories.

Love that this is Android based. Any android TV app works here. I have a Vizio, Samsung, and roku stick and always run into issue with apps not being available. Android TV seems to have them all. I bought 4 of these, one for the Samsung, one for the Vizio, and two for non-smart TVs to rid us of non-standard UX experiences! The federated search across multiple platforms is also a nice benefit. Can name the device too, so with multiple devices, makes it easy for connectivity. Especially screen casting.

Having trouble with it drying clothes completely. The d machines was Kenmore elite (LG OEM) and worked well. This LG is basically newr version of same model. For example washed two pairs of jeans and had to restart dryer three times foget them dry. Old system never had that issue.

I have two sets of WB Red drives (4 total) using the Microsoft Storage spaces. In nearly the same time frame I had one each fail, fortunately in separate spaces. I only purchased these again to rebuild the spaces, but as soon I have a chance I will move to another brand. Very disappointed to buy a drive branded for NAS applications, then fail more quickly that other drives. I have two HGST drives, that are not even rated for NAS in a storage space, that have been working for 10 years and still no problems (they were recycled from two desktop computers). I would expect a drive rated for NAS to last at least 5 years, and these do not. WD only warranties them for 3, and RMA process is also awful (done that once as well). Was happy that Best Buy had them in stock, so I could rebuild the storage spaces quickly in case other drive failed,
