It's more convenient because it's smaller and has no cords. You can take it anywhere. I have some arthritis in my hands and that makes it more difficult to put the rigid cuff around my upper arm.

Give the cleaning power of Maytag more prominence, while adding a drawer to hide away laundry supplies. Accessory pedestals add 15.5" of height for bonus storage and to help prevent bending and stooping.

I got pedestals for both the washer and dryer. I couldn't reach the bottom of a top load and couldn't keep bending over to remove clothes from a dryer! Now I almost have to stand on tip toes to put anything on the top of the machines but can load and unload both of them!

When heavy jeans get mixed in the dryer with thin shirts, push the Extra Power button to help get thick fabrics, pockets, hems and seams drier the first time. This machine replaced a Maytag Neptune that I had for 20 years and was still working as it should. I hope I get to say nothing but good things about this one too once I've had it long enough to be a good judge.
