Enjoyed using this service when Spectrum lost Disney and ESPN channels earlier this fall. I like that there are dedicated 4K streams for some sporting events (mostly on FOX). My biggest gripe is lack of Turner content (CNN, TNT and TBS) which was a deal breaker at the moment for me.

I bought this TV to replace a 2016 Insignia Roku TV which had weak wifi and was very slow. I had been using a Google Chromecast so setting this TV up many of the apps and configurations were ported over without a fuss. The speakers are weak in sound (no bass), so I recommend a sound bar connected via optical cable (but I may switch to ARC soon). I do wish this unit had a third HDMI input and came with an AV RCA adapter (for legacy DVD or VCR). My only other complaint is that my Spectrum RC122 remote doesn't work on this unit (however I just tried the XUMO stream box and that remote controls the TV just fine). Short of 4K having HDR on this TV is nice. Both NetFlix and Prime play content in HDR just fine on this TV.

I brought this as an early Christmas gift for my daughter in grad school and needed a tablet. It does all of the basic tasks very well and is snappy. Yes, it still has the old-school button but in some ways, it's still easy and simple to use. There is no need to break the bank if you want a tablet for reading books, checking emails and playing a few games along with streaming videos. This iPad is all that you ever need.

The current TCL product spec page does not list HDR as a feature for the Fire TV version (see https://www.tcl.com/us/en/products/home-theater/s3-class/40-class-1080p-fhd-led-fire-tv-40s350f). Can you confirm that this TV has or will have HDR?

I am having trouble getting my Spectrum DVR\cable remote to work on this TV. I've tried everything. Any advice?
Try using the SEIKI codes or Westinghouse codes. I think I just my remote scan thru to find the right codes.
One thing I'm not able to do is change the input (video source) with the Spectrum remote which I think is a shortcoming in the TV and not the remote.
