I procrastinated on buying this camera, as I was thinking that the Covid-19 issue was going away in a reasonable time. However it did not go away. So I decided to go ahead and purchase this camera. Wow! It made a world of difference in picture quality and in sound. I'm very pleased with it! I have owned it now about 3 weeks and wished I had purchased it earlier. Easy hookup to my computer with no issues.

Can I turn camera mic off in order to use external separate mic? Just purchased a LifeCam and found it does not allow for this. I record podcasts and need external mic quality that I get with my current set up. Just trying to find a good webcam for video
