This Brother Laser is one you need to take home. Excellent workmanship, great printout quality, quiet, and most of all, best of all, affordable. Black cartridge can print up to 3,000 pages, with 1,400 for color toner cartridges. I can't say enough positive stuff. A++ to Brother.

As long as you see an ethernet connection on the back of your smart TV. Then the answer is a resounding "YES." Keep in mind that an ethernet connection provides a more stable connection to the Internet than wireless does. Most smart TVs are built with Wi-Fi abilities, but some models do have an ethernet plug.

I have a Xbox that runs slow with wireless internet, well it run faster with Ethernet.

Yes, you are right. Ethernet provides a more stable connection, with less interference from outside sources to knock it out. I would highly suggest you do this for video-gaming and streaming services. You'll thank me later.

CAN THIS CONNECT MY BROTHER [MFC-295CN] PRINTER TO MY HP LAPTOP?

Nope, not going to work. As an alternative, you could plug the ethernet cable from your Brother MFC-295CN into your wireless router. Now that would work. But trying to get it to plug in as a printer cable will not do it.
