If you owned the 1st or 2nd generation WD My Cloud and looking to upgrade to WD My Cloud Home, don't. The 1st & 2nd generation WD My Clouds are Network Attached Storage (NAS) drives that can be accessed via Apple TV or Roku device (for example). The WD My Cloud Home, on the other hand, isn't meant to be seen or used as a NAS device. It's more of a storage solution. You could probably use it with the Plex Media Server, but in order to use most of the streaming options, you'll have to pay for a Plex Pass subscription. WD should have renamed this, so as not to confuse owners of their previous versions. Too bad.

When the first AirPods were released, I took one look and decided I couldn't wear something that looked like earrings. Also, they just hung on your ears w/o much (if any support). I decided I would be patient and wait for an upgrade that had shorter stems, water-resistant (with and IPX4 rating) and noise-cancellation. I had to wait two friggin' years, but it was worth the wait. They're great and because they are part of the Apple ecosystem, they work seamlessly with my iPhone. Altho the AirPods lack volume control, I use Siri to control it. Additionally, being left handed, I like being able to use the controls on either the left or right bud. I've read reviews criticizing the sound quality. I only wear the AirPods when walking and it's perfectly fine for my taste. I tested the noise-cancellation feature and am really pleased. I was walking down the street where construction was taking place. When activated, the noise cancellation blocked out about 70% of the noise and it was great. However, I usually use the "transparency" mode, because I think it's safer. This mode is great, especially when I'm conversing with others. I used to have to remove my previous earbuds, in order to hear, but now I can leave them in, because the microphones built into the AirPods Pro pick up the voices very easily. I've also tested the call quality and the ones who called said my voice was coming in loud and clear. So, I highly recommend the new AirPods Pro.

In case I don't have a CD on my PC (Windows), can I download all softwares for V600 from Epson Web Site ? My understanding is that Adobe Photoshop Element is part of the furniture ? If YES, can I also download this software from EPSON Web Site ?
I tend to download and install software vs. installing from any products' included discs, because the latest versions are usually on the product's website. In this case, you can download the software from epson.com/support. Regarding your other question, the V600 comes with Arcsoft Photostudio 6, NOT Adobe Photoshop Elements.

Yes. There are three editing options: Quick/Guided/Expert. The easiest (for me) is Guided. From there, select #5 (Enhance Facial Features). That's were you can remove wrinkles and imperfections.

If you plan on upgrading to a different laptop in 6 months, is it transferrable to the new laptop?
I've done it, so I guess the answer would be yes. Note: Just make sure you delete the software from the old laptop (especially if you plan on passing the old laptop onto somebody else), as the license is only good for one installation (you cannot use it on more than one computer simultaneously). When installing, you'll need to enter the license key (that comes with the software), so don't lose it. Also, before deleting it from the old laptop, confirm it works on the new laptop (just as a precaution). Sorry if I'm giving you more info than you need. I come from a tech support background and want to make sure I cover everything.

Can I edit videos with it? Says I can edit video slideshows is that the same thing. Put one on old computer three years ago. With that one I could edit videos. Is that transferable?
Yes, but let me qualify. This is a software "package" of two products: Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements. Elements is for photographs and Premiere would be used for videos.
