Kevin Costner's 2003 Western Open Range comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1. Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by Costner. He talks about his theories as a director, his affection for the Western genre (a type of movie that, with this film, he proves he has absorbed), and many tales about the film's production. His commentary is as earnest and heartfelt as the film itself. A second DVD is full of information on the making of the film, allowing the viewer access to almost every aspect of the process. This is a strong disc from Disney/Buena Vista that will be of particular interest to any genre enthusiast.

I was surprized how many of my fellow western fans have not seen this great film. It could have been done with John Wayne in his peak. Directed by and starring Kevin Costner, this is his best work since dances with wolves in my opinion. Robert Duvall and Annette Benning provide superve supporting roles. The story is classic with a compelling love story.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have a stone fireplace. Outlet and cable plug in already installed. Just not sure how to mount this to fireplace since it shows several areas on bracket to screw into wall? I was told to remove the outlet cover to reveal studs. Help pls

We had a 45 in tv mounted. We just purchased a Hisense 50” class H65 series tv. The manual states we need a spacer ( but supplied by a third party) we have found no where showing were to purchase this spacer. Also we can not find screws to fit new tv. M6

I purchased a powered Ring door and Ring chime to replace the same old standard. Not sure about current prices but estimate $150-250. I installed myself.
