Decided to try this company based upon an analysis by a college kid reviewing all the plans that were out there. This plan is a lot cheaper than other mainline plans. We have been using for about five weeks, and have not had any problems. The three month service plan is half of what we were paying. When we go to the six month plan, it will be even cheaper. Give it a try.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is the power cord a regular small prong (as pictured), or is it a large box like outlet?

The power cord is part of the unit. You cannot separate it from the unit. The male end is regular size and you can plug it into an outlet or power strip. This is small unit.
