can additional buckets be purchased to collect water?

If you use it just as an air-conditioner, no buckets necessary as that the little moisture collected will be spit out through ventilation hose to outside with airflow. If you use the unit though as a dehumidifier only (no cooling air) then a standard garden hose can be attached to the rear of the unit to collect excess moisture. If you want to use buckets rather than leading hose to outside areas I suppose that is possible, but any bucket will do, I think.

How many cameras can the Home Base 2 record simultaneously? If you have 5 cameras and Eufy doorbell detecting motion simultaneously, will the Home Base 2 capture and save the recordings from all 6 devices?

I have the Homebase 1, an earlier unit and it can handle up to 16 eufy devices at once. I believe it buffers individual devices till each device can record to the homebase which contains the micro sd card where the images are stored. Have had no problems yet with 2 cameras and doorbell recordings simultaneously.

My camera doesn't have any SD card. Do I have to buy it separate?

Yes. SD card not included. I suggest buying a class 10, 32 or 64 GB card as a maximum. I was encountering problems with 128 GB cards from different manufacturers. I think it’s a problem with the camera slot, not the cards themselves because the cards worked fine in my pc. Also be away the card is formatted by the camera, so don’t have anything valuable on the card you want to keep. It will be erased.

I bought an SD card at Best buy 128 GB how do you put it into the SD card slot. The card keeps on popping out after I push it in it doesn't stay in

Its tricky. I've got 5 cameras now, and on one no matter what I did it either kept popping out or was getting temporarily stuck in the slot before it would eventually pop back out again. After several attempts I decided to try a another SD card and voila...no more popping out. At least in my case it was the card apparently. I suggest you try another card. They make those cards in such large quantities that I'm sure at least a few rejects might slip by quality control once in awhile. Good luck.

I'm having issues with devices working with 2.4mhz, does this camera use 5mhz?

What is the largest GB of a card that the camera will accept?

According to tp link the maximum size is 128gb, class 10. I've used rhat size but since the cameras record over the oldest files on a continuous loop, 32gb is sufficient for a month of 720p resolution which i use, though the camera will record also at 360p and 1080p, so recording times will vary.

can you talk threw camera

You can talk through the camera, but its not really clear and you must speak loudly to be heard, its not like a speakerphone. Also sometimes if they are reflective sound surfaces (eg. metal) near the camera a echo effect can be picked up by the camera as you speak, and you hear your own voice in the background. Though the camera is very good at picking up on other sounds through it's microphone.

Can you connect multiple cameras and view it at one time.

You can watch multiple images from different cameras on different devices at the same time, but you can't watch multiple images from different cameras onto a single device. I got five cameras, and I can watch different camera views on my Android phone and on my iPad at the same time.

This will be my first indoor camera. Do I have to buy the SD card or can use the camera without it? Buying the SD Card what benefits will the camera have? Without it will still have the motion detection available?

You can use the camera without a sd card, and receive notifications, and use motion tracking about activity, but unless you subscribe to kasa care cloud storage or use the sd card you will not be able to see anything outside of real-time monitoring. I like that it has a sd card for storage rather than paying a monthly fee to kasa if I want to review footage that I might be missing. I also understand that there has been continuing problems with kasa monitoring and that is why kasa now offers sd card storage so that they can eventually end the kasa storage program rather than fix their on-going problems.
