Great, easy to use, though wish power cable was longer. Has a built in battery and works wirelessly, but using on a desktop all day long, means plugging it in to USB cable and cable in the box is way too short.

Used in garage to keep garage cool in hot summer conditions in Florida. A little underpowered for 2 car garage. But keeps 90s down to the 80s at least and does remove humidity quite well. Wish instructions were better. Didn’t understand the ability to cycle on and off only available in cool mode. Seems that auto mode should have same ability but auto mode only has cooling ability as constant. That seems backwards to me.

Used as a security portal for volunteer sign in station. Easy to use. Had some problems with unit going blank after 4 months. Contacted Lenovo and was awaiting response to ship unit back for repair under warranty when the chromebook suddenly starting working correctly again. Quite strange.

Bought to replace 5th generation iPad that wasn’t connecting reliably to power supply any more. Fifth generation is its final 6 months of update coverage. This 9th generation should be good for another 4 years at least. Good to have 256gb as my old 5th has 128gb and was half filled already.

Was looking for 10 foot cable that was in Best buy app as in-stock in store. It wasn't. This was a comprise, till i could get the 10 foot cable from Amazon instead. In addition the cable from Amazon was half the price of this 6 foot cable from Best Buy.

Hi. From what I’ve read , if in away mode, the camera will sense motion and trigger alarm if motion is sensed, . Will it detect pet movement in away mode and trigger alarm?
Cameras by themselves do not trigger any alarm. They record motion when triggered by a alarm that is initiated by a motion, entry, or panic detector. You can set up motion detectors with cameras in areas where your pets are so that they only send you a “secret alert” when motion is detected and record that motion. I use this setting for my 4 cats, so that if the secret alert is initiated only I will know it and see what is recorded, and then I can call 911 if there is something other than my cats setting off the alarm. Simplisafe monitoring services are not notified during secret alerts.
