This usb 3.0/micro usb thumb drive is the perfect size for my limited space on the sides of my admin laptop desk and gives me a lot of storage space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Would this be a good choice for a complete system backup for a Windows 10 laptop?

Yes. I have several desktops and 2 laptops. One of my laptops is an HP Spectre x360 Convertible, which I also have a factory reset USB thumb drive for. I used my external HDD to do a complete system backup. I have used both devices to restore/recover my internal HDD, and they both worked perfectly. I feel comfortable knowing that my data/system can be restored/recovered by me if it is ever needed again.
