This was my first foray into curved monitors. I buy for several hundred employees and offered these up to a 60 yo female employee. She loves them, I got her two. Said it reduces how much she has to turn her head.
Other employees saw hers and asked for the same. Looks like curved is in.

I have bought many of these for several reasons.
I use them in my server racks. Many servers no longer come with VGA outputs so I need these. They also have a short pigtail which allows me to make the VGA connection about 6" away from the back of the server freeing up space and allowing for free air movement.

Had to replace our Sears Kenmore Elite. Love the look of this ,the black stainless is beautiful, but easily is scratched. As a dishwasher it does a decent job, but pay attention to how the manual says to load plates and bowls. They won't come clean if not loaded the proper direction, etc.
When trying to figure out why the Sears Kenmore was better at cleaning and easier to use I found that the water jets in the Kenmore were better. They pressurized the water making each water stream a powerful jet, unfortunately this Samsung doesn't do that.
Overall, a decent but not great dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In the end, I used this to attach the camera to the corner of the big screen TV in the conference room, allowing a full room view for video participants. Worked great and stuck VERY well, yet easy to remove with no marks left behind.

Always wanted one, finally found an excuse to buy. User note: you must have a window to vent the heat duct. As long as you use that, this is a perfect unit. Plenty of cooling power for a rather good size room. I used it after the Cedar Rapids Derecho destroyed the AC in one of my equipment penthouses downtown CR. This kept a 2500 sf room with elevator motors and electronics cool enough for the elevators and electronics to keep working.

They thought of everything. I've used a 2 sided metal version of this for years. The problem with what I had used was the cards would slip out 1 side. NOMATIC fixed that, both sides are gripped, no slipping out. And when you need access you just pull on the leather NOMATIC tab and easy access to your cards on both sides of the wallet. LOVE IT!

We already have a whole-house water filter. is the Samsung water filter required, or is there a way to bypass the filter in this unit?
Most Samsung water and ice dispensers will work without an AquaPure water filter installed. The water filter housings are designed as rotary valves that allow the water to bypass the water filter whenever there is no filter or the filter is not in the locked position.

A blinking temperature display is trying to get your attention, typically because the temperature is too high and things need to cool down. It could also be because a door has been left open. Any other blinking lights may require a power cycle to correct the issue.

will it work on a boat
It's your basic suction cup. Works very well on a flat surface. I wanted it to stick to a drywalled wall with eggshell finish...no good. But, it stuck great in the upper corner of the TV, so that's where it lives, holding our camera for teleconferencing.
