I purchased this cable explicitly for it's high speed,
and it did not disappoint me. I use it when copying
large files to and from my high speed external solid
state drives. I also use it to copy large size photos
and videos from my Galaxy S22 phone, which has a
high speed USB C port. The cable is very well made.

The phone was delivered quickly in just three days after
it was ordered. It was delivered in a small, heavy-duty
cardboard box. When I picked up the box I could hear
something moving inside. Upon opening the box I
immediately saw that the phone was not packed very
well. The phone itself was in a thin plastic bag, and
secured to the bottom of the box by a tight band of thin
plastic. There was no foam cushion on either side of the
phone. Placed on top of the phone was a box containing
a charging cable. This box was free to move about. There
was also a wall charger in a thin plastic bag that was also
free to move about. These items should, at a minimum,
have been isolated from the phone by bubble wrap. I
expected more care for a phone that cost $450. This
careless packing cost me a week of carefully testing the
phone - something most customers would not do.

I ran all the Samsung diagnostics multiple times,
and the phone passed them all. I found an app to
help me find dead pixels and residual images on the screen - none were found. The display screen was
like new. The battery was also like new. I have been
using the phone now for almost four weeks, and can get
almost three days usage out of one full charge - although
my usage is relatively light.

All three cameras work very well, and the lenses look
like new. They experienced no damage from the careless packing - but I was probably lucky. A photo of the
base of my Christmas tree with the main lens is very

I am very happy with this phone. However, I am afraid I
can not recommend it to a friend. The careless way it

computer resulted in it not even posting. After a lot of
detective work I learned that my computer did not
support XMP profiles, only JEDEC profiles. I found
that Crucial memory provides what may be the best
support for JEDEC profiles available. My computer
booted immediately with this memory kit and gave the
maximum possible speed for my Intel Core i5 Gen 8
processor - 2666 MHz ! Using the utility CPU-Z I found
that Crucial provides matching JEDEC profiles for
every XMP profile, and that these cover all possibilities
permitted for 8th through 11th generation Intel CPUs.

This is my first racing wheel setup, and it is an enormous
step up from a gaming controller! I use it with Forza
Horizon 4, and it is incredible driving around Scotland
with this setup. For a beginning set up it is an incredible
value. I have it mounted on a folding frame and I set it up

If I turn off the S mode will it work normally or it affects its performance.. and What the consequences will be if you turn off the S mode?
A positive feature of S mode is that a number of processes deemed unnecessary will not be running. As a result, the laptop will boot a little faster, run a little faster, and have a little longer battery life. Try it for a little while and then make the decision whether to stay on it or not.

I don't think it matters what generation the core processor is - just find a case for a 15.6inch laptop that you like.

Is there an LINE input jack on this unit?
On many laptop machines, the headset output jack can be
configured in the Device Manager to serve as a stereo
input jack. That is how I got my laptop (an hp) to work with the program Audacity. It blew my mind when I learned about this!

You certainly can! I would recommend a blue-tooth mouse, so you can keep your usb ports available.

Do I need a technician to set this laptop up. I'm not super technical but my previous laptop was a Lenovo. And I just do the basics. No games or stuff like that. Just email and favorite websites.
My sister has little tech skills, and she had no difficulty setting this laptop up. You should be fine. Just be sure to have your wifi id and password ready, as well as your Microsoft account id and password.

How long does battery stay charged
It will depend on how the laptop is being used, and on the power settings used. If you run it with the display screen at max brightness, you will run the battery out faster than if the screen is run at half brightness. If you are streaming movies you will use up the battery faster than if you are just reading emails or working on a simple document. The number given by the manufacturer is probably what is obtained under optimal conditions.
